The amazing tea mug with saucer “Russia” is part of the Russian Style Collection, which presents the best works of Alexey Vorobyevsky, known for his talent for hand-painting on porcelain. The gifted artist created his unique method of porcelain mural: at first, he used a pen to draft a pattern and then applied a fine brush to colorate the pattern with different paints. Currently, Imperial Porcelain Factory, which has been a manufacturer of hand-painted ceramics in Saint Petersburg, monthly issues over hundreds of art pieces after paintings of A.V. Vorobyevsky. Complex floral ornaments, ancient-Russia architectural patterns, and delicate oriental luxury are an integral part of the story, which is performed using manual casting and painting techniques, all contrasted in shimmering gold plating. The wonderful floral ornament on the foot of the cup and inside of the cup complements the color palette of the old Russian Church, which stands on the hill exposing its historical yet alluring composition. The golden floral weave on the saucer accentuates the elegance of the figure. This cup and saucer will add color to your tea party and become a regular guest on your table.
