Porcelain minimalist sculpture Brave Dachshund is the author’s work of Boris Vorobyov and Viktor Zhbanov from IPM factory. Their numerous works are kept in the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Kuskovo Estate, etc. The vintage ceramic animal has been produced at the Porcelain factory since 1971. The minimalist animal sculpture is made of soft-paste porcelain with manual underglaze painting. The form shows a standing Dachshund dog with its chest exposed. From the long trunk there are typical of the breed short legs. The head and tail reach up. The artist paints the product in brown. The author depicts the tips of the paws, chest and muzzle in a light orange color. Near the black nose, you can see the dark outline of a mustache.
