Imperial Porcelain Factory minimalist sculpture Terrier is a part of the family of vintage handmade ceramic animals. It has been produced at the Imperial Porcelain factory since 1961. The author of the form and painting Ivan Riznich embodied ceramic animal from soft-paste porcelain. For decoration, he uses manual underglaze painting. The author’s works are represented in many famous museums. The form is presented as a standing dog with a raised tail. The hind legs are wide apart, and the forelegs stand together. On the front paws, a voluminous pile of wool is clearly visible. The ears are pressed to the head, and the muzzle is stretched forward. The artist draws the product mainly in white, and the spot on the back of the ears and eyes in orange. This porcelain dog combines the sophistication of a vintage ceramic animal.
