Alexey Viktorovich Vorobyevsky is a legend of Soviet decorative art, who created his unique method of porcelain mural: at first, he used a pen to draft a pattern, and then applied a fine brush to correlate the pattern with different paints. Currently, Imperial Porcelain Factory, which has been a manufacturer of hand-painted ceramics in Saint Petersburg, monthly issues over hundreds of art pieces after paintings of A.V. Vorobyevsky. This unique sugar bowl “Fantastic butterflies” is a hand-painted creation on Imperial porcelain by Anna Nosova, who has collaborated with A.V. Vorobyevsky. The bowl “Butterfly Flight” of a famous artist inspired Anna to retain the author’s original style and decorativeness of the pattern. The handles and foot are decorated with gilded lines and fantastic butterflies flutter on the lid and body of the sugar bowl, the beauty of their wings is also highlighted by a golden sheen. The interweaving of magnificent flowers, as well as the flight of the intricate and colorful butterflies reflect the master’s skill and make this sugar bowl a wonderful addition to any tea party. Lastly, this unique porcelain sugar bowl is a perfect gift for her. Manufactured sine 1995.
